The meeting was held at the twentieth annual meeting of the Catalan Society of Neurology and the tenth Conference Barcelona – Pittsburgh about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in the world.

During its 10th Pittsburgh-Barcelona Conference, held from 25 to 28 May, Fundació ACE gave the Mediterranean Alzheimer Alliance (MAA) the opportunity to meet for a 7th workshop, this year in Barcelona. This workshop was an opportunity for members to present an overview of the current situations and political breakthroughs in their countries, regarding the care and support of people with dementia and their carers. To help inspire other Mediterranean countries, Fundació ACE presented its ongoing projects on robotics and social media.
