RAMCIP participated in the 5th EAI International Symposium on Pervasive Computing Paradigms for Mental Health (MindCare 2015), which was held on September 2015, in Milan, Italy. The third meeting of the RAMCIP project was held in Munich, Germany, in 14-15 October 2015; it was hosted by Technische Universitaet Muenchen – Chair of Information-oriented Control. The meeting gave to the RAMCIP consortium the opportunity to discuss their progress and the future directions of the project and plan the next steps and activities.
Fundacio ACE represented the RAMCIP consortium at the Responsible Research Innovation-ICT 2015 workshop, which was held in Brussels, on the 8-9th of July 2015. The workshop was a European Commission DG Connect initiative together with the RRI-ICT Forum Project.
The second meeting of the RAMCIP project was held in Barcelona, Spain, in 27-28 April 2015. The meeting, which was hosted by Fundacio ACE, gave to the RAMCIP consortium the opportunity to discuss their progress and the future directions of the project and plan the next steps and activities. Special focus was given to the design and deployment of the workshops and surveys for the analysis of the needs and requirements of the target RAMCIP end users.
The Information Technologies Institute of Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH/ITI) participated in the Human-Robot Hand-Over Workshop at the Robotics: Science and Systems Conference which was held in Rome, Italy from 13th to 17th July 2015. The following paper was presented in the workshop:
"Human-inspired object load transfer in hand-over tasks" authored by Efi Psomopoulou and Zoe Doulgeri.
The vision and objectives of the RAMCIP project were presented in the “Healthcare” vertical session of the RoboBusinessEU Conference, which was held in Milan, Italy, on 29-30 April 2015.
An article over the RAMCIP project has been published in the news of European Commision under the title “RAMCIP project: Robot Research to help people with mild cognitive impairment”.
In January of 2015, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, the project coordinator, hosted the kick-off meeting of the RAMCIP project in Thessaloniki, Greece.
